Introduction

The National Agriculture Market (e-NAM) is an online trading platform launched by the Government of India in 2016 to create a unified national market for agricultural commodities. It aims to eliminate the role of middlemen and ensure better price discovery for farmers.

Eligibility

Eligible Beneficiaries:

Exclusions:

  • Farmers not linked to an APMC or without marketable produce.
  • Traders who do not meet licensing and compliance requirements.

Application Process

  1. Farmers need to register with their nearest APMC linked to e-NAM.
  2. Registration can be done online through the e-NAM portal or at designated market yards.
  3. Traders and buyers must obtain a valid license from the respective APMC to participate.
  4. Once registered, users can trade agricultural commodities via the e-NAM platform.
